Homeopathic medicine views allergies as reflecting a susceptibility of the body to the external environment. In other words, a fragility in dealing with the outside world. This can be represented by air-borne elements such as pollens or mould, or nutritional elements such as gluten, dairy, etc. A healthy body can withstand outside factors whilst keeping its boundaries intact. A healthy digestive system should be able to overcome the foreign quality of nutritional elements with the power of digestive enzymes.
These days, considerable emphasis is placed on identifying allergic triggers and then avoiding them. The downside of this approach is that, over time, many patients discover new allergens. Adding these to their list means restricting their lives further to avoid the new triggers. Their world thus becomes smaller and smaller.
Using homeopathic and anthroposophic remedies involves a different approach. We work on the body’s resilience, strengthening digestive processes and improving the body’s capacity to form healthy boundaries with its environment. Over time, reactions can ease or disappear completely.
I would highly recommend Dr Stepanyan. She has hugely helped me throughout my homeopathy journey. Before homeopathy I tried countless medications which had no effect. However, the homeopathy results have allowed me to minimise my problem and stop it from affecting me on a day to day basis. I’m really grateful to Dr Stepanyan for her expertise and patience.
